lunar eclipse tomorrow
if you have clear skies tomorrow night, you should check out the total lunar eclipse that'll be visible from pretty much everywhere in the us. it'll be the last one until december 2010. sadly, we've got a 60% chance of rain all tomorrow and into thursday here in houston, so no eclipse viewing for me. if you've got a camera with a long lens and a tripod, take some pictures for me.

i took this one in 2004 with chris holding binoculars up to the lens of my point and shoot.
and here's a picture i took with my point and shoot (hand-held, no telescope or binoculars) later that night. i was so looking forward to taking more now that i have a decent camera. :(
